The typical data analyst or business advisor is not lazy enough. They are willing to perform routine, repetitive work each week, month, or quarter to create reporting. Instead, learn tools that allow automation. My process improvement trained boss once said "everyday try to get rid of your job" You can do this through automation, teaching someone else to do the work, or eliminating non-value add work. This will either make your job really easy or will be noticed by management and will result in a possible promotion or new position.
